Insane Biplane Arial Tours of Cape Cod

Updated: Mar 5, 2025

Breathtaking Cape Cod Aerial Views from the cockpit of an open air biplane is adventure calling!

Now I can recommend biplane tours because they are an adventure I absolutely love! Nothing clears the mind like going up into the heavens in an open cockpit biplane. After the end of a long season, my daughter and I prefer to go up into the sky in the fall, right before the temperatures drop on Cape Cod. For us it is the perfect way to celebrate the end of another season.

Located 20 minutes from Frederick William House!

Cape Cod Airfield is nestled in the woods between the ocean, lakes, and beaches of Cape Cod. Take a step back in time to an airfield that dates back to the 1920s. It has over 80 acres of open daisy-filled field, 3 grass intersecting runways, 2 hangars, and a quaint old windmill. It was once used as a training field for the Army Air Corps and rumor has it that Amelia Earhart landed here.

After you’ve checked out the Airfield, be sure to make a reservation for a Biplane tour! Experience breathtaking views of Cape Cod in a Waco YMF-5 Biplane. This aircraft is a replica of a late 1930’s design and was built in 1988. One or two passengers ride in the front cockpit on a scenic biplane tour of Cape Cod. See stunning views of the beaches, bridges, and canal.

It’s best to book at least two to three days in advance. Tours range from 15 to 60 minutes. Prices vary by the type of plane and the duration of the flight.
